Life in 5 Dimensions

In 2002 Amanda had a little 'a-ha' moment in her thinking about some of our anomalous experiences. Quite a few things clicked when she began to think about this idea in earnest...

In 2003 Amanda took her nascent idea to the Quantum Mind conference as a
poster presentation. Amanda later released some of her thoughts about a 5-dimensional world and the physics that might support it into the blogosphere.

Humanism/Transhumanism

Amanda spent some time writing for Transhumanity, a now-defunct online publication of the World Transhumanist Association. Her articles included Consciousness and Advancing Technology and In Today's World: Turning Science Fiction Into Science Fact.

Amanda also blogged her more-recent exploration of traditional humanism.

Cognitive Liberty

Amanda is interested in issues of cognitive liberty, especially as they relate to advances in neurotech and psychopharmacology. Her thoughts on this issue currently appear in her blog on Humanism.

Fiction/Science Fiction

Amanda explores many of her ideas in the realm of fiction. She is sure that there is a great science fiction novel in her somewhere. In the meantime she is trying to sell shorter pieces, and is exploring the idea of performance fiction writing.

Everything Else

Amanda did her dissertation and doctoral work in the area of eyewitness memory.
